"The Star of David" offers up monsters and Christmas cheer; "Roses in Winter" is a coming-of-age story starring the youngest-ever werewolf; and in "In Red, with Pearls," a gay werewolf must determine why a zombie tried to kill his lover. Of particular note for series readers is "Silver," in which Briggs relates how Bran and Samuel became werewolves, and describes the latter's sorrowful romance with Ariana. Great collection of Mercy-verse shorts
I'd been looking for the previously published short stories for a while, so I was thrilled to see them published together. The addition of new stories were icing on the cake!
My favorites were Ben's attempt to stop swearing, and Moria meeting Tom :)

I love the Mercy Thompson Series and this book continues the adventures that the series brings to life.

This book you are able to read the point of view if the other character which I loved. I can't wait for the next book!
