It's good
Pearl is a little whinny. If she weren't 40 years old or was fat or ugly I could understand her insecurities but really she's just unnecessarily annoying at times. Also I skipped a lot of parts in the book. The author tends to over explain. These aren't Gideon/Eva or Christian/Ana so I cared a lot less these two characters as individuals.
