A simple mission becomes the spark that could rewrite the history of the entire galaxy.

After Cal Dormer and his compatriots are captured on Prithix, their personal goals begin to diverge. While Quaresh and Rinika see a rare chance to return to their own homes, Cal receives troubling news that his family may be in grave danger on Eridia-4.

The leader of the rebellion, a Prithian named Cork, offers them a deal. He will give them the freedom to pursue their separate missions if they complete a simple task for him: infiltrate a secret Fenix base hidden in a nearby asteroid field. The group agrees, but what they discover there will change the course of human history.

But what happens after they leave may change the course of the entire galaxy.
