SHINFERNO

It’s her birthday and her brother dies along one of his subway tracks. She can’t believe this happened only a year ago. She hasn’t had the nerve to venture underground much less step into subway train since then. But a memorial ceremony is in the works to honor his memory and she’s determined to be there. As the day nears, however, there are reports of strange mysterious happenings taking place under the tunnels. The most startling of all, that his death may not have been accidental.

Subway employee Jack doesn’t know how many times she’s died. Too many to remember. It’s all a blur. She keeps having flashbacks or flash forwards. It’s hard to say. She just wants to focus on the job on hand. That’s to keep these mysterious happenings under wraps. Keep things running smooth. Disturb the ridership peace as little as possible. It wouldn’t do to have these humans poke their noses too much into things. It would make it that much harder to do her job. She just wants to do her job.
