This shipwreck index, Volume 1 in the acclaimed 'Lloyd’s Shipwreck Index of the British Isles’ series of six volumes, coverts the whole of the West Country, starting with North Devon and Lundy, then North Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, South Cornwall, South Devon and Dorset. The printed edition, having long sold out at £49.00, and despite reprints, is now available second hand only at greatly inflated prices. Turning this volume into an e-book has been a major achievement because of its size and complexity, but now makes it available to a much wider range of readers, divers, researchers, historians and shipwreck enthusiasts than before.
