Shock Trooper

Earth in the 26th Century, under repression for 500 years, is beginning to terraform Mars. Fledgling colonies on other planets are attacked by ape-like beings called Dorgons who eat their enemies. This unknown race is not motivated by conquest, just love of war and to procure food.

Earth's space defense is inadequate until the Shock troops are unleashed. These aggression-enhanced humans designed to be fearless, faster and stronger cause the Dorgons to sue for a truce. Earth's repressive government is afraid of their own creations and order the Shock troops to disband and report for de-aggression therapy. Some do, some don't. This is the story of the hero of the Dorgon War who chose to remain "out there."
