Shootout Save is the sixth book in Melody Heck Gatto's Renegades hockey series. Though the characters of the Pittsburgh Renegades team are featured throughout the books of the series, each book can be read as a standalone novel. The men of the Renegades are hot, funny, and I love reading as each of them fall in love.
Kaden O'Conner is sexy and charming . . . and he knows it. He can have any girl he wants with no problem, but reading about him falling for Alison Bishop and the ups and downs of their evolving relationship made me love this character. This novel has all the steamy details of the angst, the sweetness, and the whirlwind of emotions that encompasses Kaden & Ali's relationship. I love how Melody's writing delved into the inner thoughts of both characters, allowing the reader a raw and honest perspective into these two characters.
