This sports comedy in the New York Times bestselling Shopping for a Billionaire world contains no actual chickens, but it has plenty of locker room scenes, a fake relationship, very real banter, and more. You do not have to have read the previous books in this world, though after you read about Amy and Hamish, you’ll want to. ;)

Highlander Series
I absolutely love Julia Kent Shopping Series! A little bit of romance mixed with a lot of laughter keeps me coming back for the next book, or revisiting the series over and over. I hope there’s more coming in the future!

All I can say is I loved all of it❤️ I’m a sucker for accents and as I was reading this I could hear Hamish talking to me.
Enemies to lovers
Having read almost every book written,by Julia Kent, this one was a no thinker. The Shopping series continues with the story of Hamish and Amy.
Hamish is a Scottish football player, popular, sexy, and has no mouth filter. Related to the McCormicks, he becomes involved in their craziness. His exploits have caused him to begin to lose some of his business promoters, so his manager decides to hire someone to help him control his extra-curricular activities.
Amy is single young lady, fresh out of college, she applies to work for the company that represents Hamish. She, unwillingly, is the one assigned to monitor his activities. She doesn’t trust him, because every time they are around each other, he constantly flirts with her. She does go ahead a takes the job, and the craziness begins.
The banter between Hamish, and Amy is constant throughout the entirety of the book. There is several lol moments, and several misunderstandings. Amy learns about Hamish’s insecurities, and Hamish learns about Amy’s insecurities. They begin to develop feelings for each other, and these feelings become love. Hamish expresses his love for Amy in an outstanding way. They finally reach their HEA.
I’ve read the whole Shopping series, and highly recommend this book, and all the Shopping series.
