Romeo and Mia and Cami and Doc, flames for one and fire for another.
Book five in the Deep Six series includes Romeo and Mia and Cami and Doc.
Mia works for the state of Florida. It’s her job to go to different dig sites when bounty has actually been found. She’s a quiet thing with a world of hurt on her back. While we know Romeo for, well being a Romeo every time he hits Key West, Mia sees him as an extraordinary human she isn’t deserving of. It takes most of the book to piece together all her hurt.
Cami is the lawyer the team needs to determine if the bounty, found in land and/or sea belongs to the state of Florida or them. Cami is actually their lawyer but first she has to interpret the law. Cami meets Doc at the bar and yea, quiet, mysterious Doc, another Romeo. Next morning Romeo, Mia, Cami and Doc fly back to the island when something happens to their plane. We’re they shot down or blew up? Why? Is it about one of them or as a whole? As the plane sinks, one of the guys is injured, one of the couples starts their relationship and the other couple cannot stop swatting at each other.
Enter a few ruffians trying to take one of them out. Then a halt on where to look for the treasure next. Truly I am hoping Cami and Doc had such a strong part in this book so book six is a lot about finding the treasure and what happens to these six men and their women.
I have enjoyed this series but truthfully I wanted more buried treasure dialogue.

Just keeps getting better…
Just when I thought this series couldn’t possibly get better, it does! I actually missed these characters and was so glad to be back! I felt like I was seeing old friends. This book is intriguing, funny and a page turner. As a matter of fact I was completely shocked when I got the the Epilogue page I was so enthralled what was going on! I’m always disappointed when I get to the end of Julie Ann Walker’s books and this was no exception.
