SHTF Prepping On A Budget

What is prepping?
The idea of “prepping” seems new to many people only because we have had multiple generations of prosperity and conveniences that have separated ourselves from what our great grandparents called normal. When my great grandparents were kids, many families in America didn’t even have electricity at the beginning of the 20th century. Food had to be creatively preserved, and everyday tasks had to be done without the use of electricity. How did our families get by without modern technology? Goodness, the everyday life our great grandparents lived seems so crazy to us today.
I want to shine a light on some budget ways to set some staple items back. We don’t have to be dependent on someone else if there is an emergency that puts us in a situation where electricity, commerce, or grocery stores are shut down for extended periods of time. I want this guide to be as straight to the point as possible, sharing things that may be overlooked when it comes to prepping and where to get them to survive.
Gold and silver coins will take a back burner when it comes to an emergency, natural disaster, complete economic collapse, without rule of law. I have created a list that will explain the basic essentials, very affordable trading, and SHTF Prepping on a Budget items you will need to have. I will emphasize on survival pinch, budget, and high end suggestions.
When studying other countries that have had disasters, crisis and collapse situations you can see what they go through. Unless you have lived through a situation like that it can be hard to imagine what to do. You must be mentally prepared and imagine no electric, no credit, no communication beyond physical contact and limited resources and commerce.
Better to have and not need then need and not have and then be able to keep what you have. Make sure you keep what prepping you have to yourself unless you want lines of angry hungry people outside your house after a Hurricane or SHTF crisis. Thrifty budget prepping can be low key and works best.
Prepare as much as you can, imagine what you need or have space to store it in and then make sure you have small important trading items for those things you forgot or did not have the space to store back. I will break down the kinds of things from my research and experience that seem to work the best.
Practice what you preach. You will want to practice using these items you put back and rotate them first in, first out, because if you wait until a crisis comes and you have zero experience you will have no idea what to do with the supplies you have. Grind your grain up, make flour, and build a fire and cook on it. Try out as many of the suggestions as you can so when trouble comes, you are ready.
