The pair forged an unlikely friendship, unique and strange. Until they were ripped apart by the sick cruelty of others, separated for years, both locked in a perpetual hell.

Eleven years later, Heathan is back for his girl. Back from a place from which he thought there was no return. Back to seek revenge on those who wronged them.

Time has made Heathan’s soul darker, polluted with hatred and the thirst for blood.

Time has made Ellis a shell of her former self, a little girl lost in the vastness of her pain.

As Heathan pulls Ellis out of her mental prison, reviving the essence of who she once was, down the rabbit hole they will go.

It’s good! Just very dark

Warning! This book is suuuuper dark and can mess with you psychologically. If you are easily triggered and are not capable of compartmentalism then do not read this. The first few chapters are really hard to get through but the storyline is great. I just wish the writing was a little more detailed and in depth but if that were the case, it would have to be multiple books instead of one.

I love smut/dark romance books but...

I’m a huge fan of Tillie Cole, truly. However, this book was a bit too much— even for me. It took me a long time to finish this book just because I was so turned off by what the characters were doing (sexually). The Alice and Wonderland theme got old, quickly. I would not recommend this book.

One hell of a ride!

Absolutely LOVED this book. The characters and the world around them draw you in. I can’t even find the words to adequately describe this greatness of this story. Definitely a favorite.
