Publisher Description

Sidney is a humorous fictional short story about an eccentric would-be wind turbine inventor who visits a small farm on the Massachusetts coast during the energy crisis of 1970s. Sidney wants to develop a wind turbine but he has very little engineering knowledge or skill. When he hears about Mark, an engineer who is powering his house and farm with a small turbine that he built himself, Sidney decides to introduce himself.

Sidney is quite intelligent but highly eccentric. He lives in his car. His eccentricity has a way of creating problems for just about everyone he comes into contact with. Although they just met, Sidney invites himself to Mark’s house for dinner. He offers to bring a pork loin that has been marinating in the back of his car during the hot summer weather.

While visiting at Mark’s house for dinner, Sidney crosses paths with the neighbor's basset hound Lulu and the encounter is hilarious.

Sidney is the first part of a series which is to follow.
