Sifting Through the Ashes of Me

Take a stroll outside the lines with Providence actor and poet Jason "Jay" Walker, as he zigzags and crisscrosses down Memory Lane, "sifting through" and arranging his early poems, which chronicle his life over twenty years, through high school, college and his involvement with and departure from the local Slam(TM) and poetry scene, in order to recapture the creative spark that drives him. It's two decades of growth, as a poet and a person, marked in meter (and sometimes in rhymes) to show the world and, hopefully, the author that they're not alone.
