For eleven years, Oakley Farrell has been silent. At the age of five, she stopped talking, and no one seems to know why. Refusing to communicate beyond a few physical actions, Oakley remains in her own little world.
Bullied at school, she has just one friend, Cole Benson. Cole stands by her refusing to believe that she is not perfect the way she is. Over the years, they have developed their own version of a normal friendship. However, will it still work as they start to grow even closer?
When Oakley is forced to face someone from her past, can she hold her secret in any longer?
*Silence deals with a sensitive topic and is recommended for 16+
all throughout the story i was like, "i know what happened when she was little, i know!" yet i was always second guessing like, "or maybe it was this... or that... ooo maybe this..." ive never found an author that was able to do that! even kirsty moseley cant!
This book was...
Well it started out a little slow for me. Not sure if I actually liked it. Then little tidbits of information would slip out building to the suspense of what you hoped was not true. The ending was really good but not the happy ending one normally gets. Thank you Kirsty Moseley for recommending that your Wattpad followers read this book. Can't wait to start the next book "Broken Silence".
So yes, I actually did enjoy the book.
Horrible. I never stop reading a book. If I purchase it and start it then I finish it. What a waste of time. I felt like a teenager wrote this book. And who was the editor? Wow....
