Silly Willy Winston in the Adventures of Inspector Snout

Silly Willy Winston is a Basset Hound with the biggest ears ever and a super large snout. In this adventure Silly Willy Winston takes on the secret identity of Inspector Snout to take your readers on a journey through the fun and fascinating world of metamorphosis. 


Silly Willy Winston’s friend  Billy tells him that his tadpole is missing and he needs help to find the it. Silly Willy Winston readies his big ears and his snout, he grabs his hat and spyglass and quickly emerges as Inspector Snout. He grabs his hat and spyglass. Returning to the pond where the tadpole was last seen, Inspector Snout helps Billy discover his tadpole is not missing, just a bit different than Billy recalled.


Along the way young readers will discover that tadpoles are not the only creatures to go through such dramatic changes. It will be revealed that when a creature goes to bed looking one way but wakes up looking and acting quite different the change is in fact a metamorphosis. They will uncover that the stages a creature goes through during metamorphosis is as unique as the creature itself; from tadpoles to salamander, honeybees to dragonflies, and crabs to jellyfish.
