Publisher Description
With “deft plotting, scorching love scenes, and multilayered characters [who] will keep readers turning pages” (Publishers Weekly), Sin proves that passion goes beyond smoldering desire when hearts dance to their own special beat.
Every woman at the Devil’s Den strip club has a story to tell, and Macey Taylor is no exception. Smart and self-reliant, she’s got a chip on her shoulder, a broken heart, and no patience for a sexy new manager with an Ivy League pedigree and a strict set of rules. Macey prefers to break rules, something she lets Joshua Camden know from the start—even as he ignites a fire in her that goes beyond the hottest club in town.
Joshua is working the Devil’s Den for all it’s worth, learning everything he can about the adult-entertainment game before investing in a place of his own. Macey is a surprise: a woman as strong-willed as she is gorgeous. Joshua wants to get inside her world, to see through her eyes. But he soon discovers that seduction is a two-way street—and expecting redemption without risking his heart may be the greatest sin of all.

Praise for Seduction
“Rand’s redemption of Craig is believable and makes him incredibly sexy, especially since his sole purpose is to please Marisela in the bedroom by worshipping her body. The two can’t keep their hands off of each other if they are in close proximity; in fact, sometimes they can’t even make it to the bedroom!”—Heroes and Heartbreakers
“I devoured Seduction in one sitting. Craig and Marisela are H-O-T, hot! I’m completely hooked on this series and am looking forward to Sin.”—USA Today bestselling author Jamie K. Schmidt
Praise for Surrender
“Surrender is a new adult romance for those who like their romance on the down-and-dirty side, with their heroines still surprisingly innocent and their heroes as knights in slightly tarnished armor.”—Library Journal
“Edgy and kick-ass, Surrender is a sizzling romance that you’ll be hard pressed to put down!”—Stacey Kennedy, USA Today bestselling author of the Club Sin series

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Rand delivers pure-octane, addictive angst in this erotic new adult romance, the third in her Devil's Den series (after Seduction). Macey Taylor is a strong-willed and sassy stripper with a brain and very low self-esteem. She's just broken up with a cheating ex-boyfriend when the management of her Corpus Christi dance club, the Devil's Den, is taken over by Joshua Camden, an Ivy League grad intent on making it the premiere gentleman's club in Texas. Joshua and Macey feel immediate chemistry, but of course the road to true love is anything but smooth, with Joshua's scheming ex trying to undermine him, and his neighbor Bishop, a longtime enemy, also throwing obstacles in his path. Rand's deft plotting, scorching love scenes, and multilayered characters will keep readers turning pages.

Sizzling, Passionate & Sexy
I received an ARC through Netgalley for an honest review.
Macey Taylor is on her way home after a six week vacation to Europe. When she walks up behind her boyfriend Wesley, and she overhears him talking to another girl and she knows right then that it is over. Wesley is from money and has never introduced Macey to his family even after dating for more than a year, when they get to her house she tells him that she overheard his conversation and that they are over. Wesley and Macey break up, and then when he tells her that they were to different because he came from money and she didn't, she lets him know that she is wealthy and he wants her back but Macey isn't having it they are done and she makes him leave. Macey is devastated she has been on her own for some time, her mom died when she was young and her dad was a gambler who didn't care to much about Macey. She has her friends and her job as a stripper at the Devils' Den she never graduated high school but she has a plan to get her GED. The next day when she goes in to work she is shocked when she learns that there is a smoking hot new boss and a lot of new rules. The chemistry is sizzling between Joshua Camden and Macey as soon as they see each other. Joshua Camden is wanting to get Macey on board with his new changes hoping that she will bring everybody else on board but change is one thing that Macey doesn't like or do well. Although Macey is still hurting from breaking up with Wesley the heat she feels when Joshua touches her is something she has never felt before and she gives into temptation. Loved reading this story from their POV helps the reader see into their background and what they are thinking. Just as you think nothing is going to get in their way their ex's start causing trouble as well as Joshua's neighbour who has a grudge against him. Intense passion with plenty of scorching love scenes. Joshua is charming, sexy and so persistent. I loved his attitude and the power he exuded. The pull they have on one another that need that makes it even more passionate beyond just a well written sex scene. Could not stop reading this story. Will their ex's get their wish and break them up? Will Macey let Joshua in and have her HEA? You are going to have to read it to find out. Sizzling, Passionate, Sexy read.
Violetta Rand can write sexy, with a great build up and an even more explosive ending
I’ve read each of the books in this series, waiting for Macey’s story. Sin by Violetta Rand manages to frustrate and confuse me, but I can’t stop reading!
Macey has returned from a short vacation where she discovered her boyfriend was cheating. She’s not too heartbroken over it, at least not enough to miss the instant reaction to the new manager, Joshua. Everyone at the club is chafing at the turnover in management, and Joshua is trying to learn all he can, while juggling the personalities and already-solid relationships within the staff.
Macey is described as smart: I’m not entirely sold. Perhaps it’s her age, or issues, or the fact that this is solidly NA and characters still haven’t really developed any common sense. But, she is funny and headstrong and loyal to the other girls, even as she is only a hairsbreadth away from a train wreck. And, she is FUN to read about – that guilty pleasure that you shouldn’t enjoy but do.
Joshua is an Ivy League grad, a major juxtaposition, the good boy testing the waters and he believes that Macey may be his key to learning all there is to know. Still reeling from his own bad breakup and issues he hadn’t yet resolved, he wants Macey on his side to help ease the acceptance of his rules, but he just can’t fight that attraction.
Similar in plotting arc to the earlier books in the series, Rand uses the banter and attraction, mixes in some angst and unresolved feelings, a dash of insta-lust that morphs into love and shakes it all up. The conflict that drove much of the miscommunications and dramatics was a typical ‘everyone in your business’ sort of moment, with both Joshua and Macey too headstrong and unable to pull their own heads out of their own personal dramas to see the manipulations for what they were. Talking TO one another, rather than assuming the worst would have helped; and then I remembered that they are working in the sex trade, where both would have seen duplicity and manipulation consistently. I just hoped for a sharper angle for growth for both of them individually, before they decided that they were meant to be.
A bit of a rollercoaster ride for me, this series has its frustrating moments in story construct and character development – but the emotional context and the heat are always a highpoint and almost sizzle off the pages. Violetta Rand can write sexy, with a great build up and an even more explosive ending, and this series has all of those moments.
I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
Passion, excitement, desire a love story
Sin has passion, excitement, desire and a love story you won’t be able to resist.
Sometimes love doesn’t always come in the package you expect.
It takes just the right person to see past your walls and be able to break them down.
Macey Taylor works at the Devil’s Den strip club she likes her life and has no plans to change her path. She’s a smart, independent, tough chick, but even tough girls get their hearts broken. When Macey’s boyfriend breaks up with her and shatters her faith in relationships, she decides she’s done with men. Upon her return from her vacation, she finds things have changed at the Devils Den there’s a new boss with strict rules and an Ivy League degree. She doesn’t have the time or the patience for his employee handbook she would rather hit him over the head with it than read it. However, there’s something about Joshua Camden and his gorgeous face that has her feeling things she swore she would never feel again.
Joshua Camden is going to turn the Devil’s Den into the best strip club in Texas if it’s the last the thing does. He won’t let anyone stand in his way not his ex-fiancée’s cheating or the feisty dancer Macey Taylor, who is determined to get under his skin. She is nothing like any woman he has ever met before he finds her sarcastic wit and feisty demeanor refreshing. He also can’t help but notice she is sexy as hell he wants to get to know every delicious inch of her body and maybe her mind too. She surprises him at every turn she makes him want to risk his heart again. Can he trust her not to break it?
Sin is the third book in the Devil’s Den series and I thought it was one of the better ones. I was curious about Macey’s story from when we meet in her book one. She intrigued me with her sassy attitude and fierce loyalty to her friends. The story line has the instant love that the other two books had but that’s okay with me, it’s a fictional love story after all and a very good one at that. Macey’s childhood was not the best she lost her mother at a very young age and then abandoned by her father. The only thing he ever did for her left her money from his gambling winnings as a professional card player. Daddy of the year he was not. Macey always had to look after herself and she did it well, on occasion letting her guard down like when she sort of feel for Wesley the cowboy who ends up breaking her heart.
When Macey meets up with Joshua Camden on her first day back at the Devil’s Den, sparks fly immediately. The chemistry between these two characters was off the charts sexy. He pursues her relentlessly no matter how much she tries to push him away. He wants to show her that he wants her for more than just a one-night stand he wants to give the long haul a shot. Joshua never thought he would feel this way again, but Macey brings it out in him. Thrown into the mix is Joshua’s neighbor and longtime family enemy Bishop. Bishop is attracted to Macey and tries to break them up at every turn I wasn’t too crazy about that part of the story. Suddenly Macey is indecisive about what she wants because of a little attention from a guy she barely knows. In the end, he turns into a treasured friend and I realized why the author added him to the story. Just when it seems that Macey and Joshua could really make a go of it, Joshua’s ex-fiancée tries to win him back. There was a lot of the usual angst we read in our romance novels, but it was good, I cried I laughed I got mad. A story that really brings out the emotions in me always gets to me.
I really enjoyed the banter between Macey and Joshua they really were a great match for each other. The sex scenes are well written and thought out, as were the scenes when Macey and Joshua laid their feelings out on the line.
Overall, I thought it was a great addition to the series, I definitely recommend reading the other two books before reading this one so you can get a better understanding of Macey’s character. I will be looking forward to reading more from Violetta in the future.
