Since You Asked

This is a collection of 94 advice columns chosen by Salon.com's readers out of the more than 1,400 I have written since taking over as advice columnist in October 2001 from the writer and radio host Garrison Keillor. Most of the advice columns I have written are pretty good but these are the really, really good ones, the ones that made you finally move to Seattle or move out of Seattle to Paris or stay in Paris and file for divorce or sell the restaurant and buy a dog or finally insist that your boyfriend tell you where he really, really lives. These are the ones that crystallized the real but frequently vague constellations of joy, doubt, worry, frustration,hope, grief, hilarity and longing that we blithely refer to as our emotional lives. 
Who is this book for? This book is for everyone, but mostly for those people who thought they would never read an Internet advice column. I am one of those people myself.
