Sinclair Vinemont, an impeccable parish prosecutor, conducts his duties the same way he conducts his life--every move calculated, every outcome assured. When he sees something he wants, he takes it. When he finds a hint of weakness, he capitalizes. But when he sees Stella Rousseau, his plans take an even darker turn.
Your invitation to the deadly games of the Acquisition await. Only one can win. But will love destroy Sinclair’s only chance at becoming Sovereign?
I loved this prequal couldn't put it down. Sinclaire Vinemont has his sugar cane business and he also is the parish prosecuter. Sinclaire first case was against Leon Rousseau, but his daughter Stella Rousseau was the one that caught his attention. Stella couldn't stand Sinclaire because he was making his father's life misserable by destroying their home looking for evidence. Sinclaire was invited to Cal's house where three members were chosen as Acquirers, so when Sinclare met with Judge Montagnet he showed him a picture of who he was going to acquire.
