Publisher Description
A drunken wedding forces sworn enemies to play newlyweds until fake turns dangerously real.
Kate wakes up with a pounding headache, a diamond on her finger, and a six-foot-three problem named Luca Leone. Billionaire. Ex-playboy. The man she’s argued with since they met.
He proposes a deal: stay married long enough to convince the world he has moved on from his ex, and he will save her family’s home from financial ruin.
No feelings. No complications. Just legal paperwork and luxury photo-ops.
Except Luca’s touch short-circuits her common sense. His protectiveness feels too intimate. His kisses feel like promises. She knows better than to fall for her enemy.
Yet every night in his penthouse tells a different story.
What happens when a revenge marriage turns into a love she can’t walk away from?
Tropes: billionaire, enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, fake relationship, penthouse proximity, grumpy/sunshine, sinful tension

Inconsistent and Rushed
Cate is spelled with a K in the summary but with a C in book.
Luca is stated to have big brown-black eyes in the first chapter, then changed to green around chapter 20.
Author forgot Harper was even a character and barely had much interaction with the friends.
Madisyn Montgomery is her name but had the wedding party under two different last names never introduced to the readers.
You don’t start a sentence with “. And she said.”
I think this book is a.i or the editor is using a.i to proof read and edit.
Very rushed ending and Cate could have been written a little less pathetic.
Why didn’t Lucas parents like Madisyn…the only black character in the whole book…. but loved the white main character….typical.
Could have been better
Did not like the main characters. They were immature. Needed editing. This could have been so much better.
