Sinfully Rich

Hulbert Footner (1879-1944) was a Canadian writer who worked in the genre of detective stories. Initially he intended to be become an actor but he eventually he realized that it was not a proper path for him as he got a lot of critics for his playing. After that he tried himself as a writer and found himself working in the genre of adventure stories. Footner often employed his own traveling experience to give some additional authenticity to his stories. But soon the time came when it was no longer of interest for him. After several attempts in writing dramas and working in the field of non-fiction literature he came to writing detectives — the very thing that made his name famous.


'Sinfully Rich' is a detective novel by Hulbert Footner. It tells us about a widow of a millionaire whose husband has died and whose jewels are missing.
