Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God

Another quality eBook from Chapel Library. Not very many preachers today are willing to touch the subject of the wrath of God. In this classic sermon from the Great Awakening, Jonathan Edwards brings a clear warning to all unrepentant sinners of the impending wrath of God. He uses vivid imagery to describe the terrible condition of all those who have not yet turned from their sin: “The God that holds you over the pit of hell–much in the same way as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect, over the fire–abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked. His wrath towards you burns like fire.” He closes with a clear call to come to Christ.
