Rich in language and symbolism the poem tells the tale of a young knight of King Arthur's Camelot, Gawain, "the falcon," who accepts the challenge to trade blows with a seemingly invincible opponent. Gawain's adherence to the code of chivalry allows him to overcome the pitfalls of temptation and eventually to survive the terror of death.

Old story told in a great new way
I really enjoyed this enhanced version of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. In particular, having a professor interpreting the story between each section was very helpful. The professor also narrates the story if the pronunciation or vocabulary challenges you.
Homeschool students would greatly benefit from this format. This marries nicely with many of the study guides and student guides available from homeschool curriculum providers. I used it in parallel with the Kolbe Study Guide and found the professor covered much, if not more, of their material. Great homeschool resource.
This format would be great for kids with learning disabilities with the audio narrations available along with the video lectures.
