Torion, a Class C cyborg working for Embargo Corp, wakes with fragmented memories and finds that they are the only remaining member of an interstellar crew of 36. The ship has a gaping hole in the hull. The onboard AI is cagey, the grey-shield protecting them from the endless void of space is wavering, and the humans leading the crew have not been honest—an unfolding paradox of events leads Torion to a chilling conclusion and a monumental choice.
