Heroic Sailor Faces Danger

I didn't know Navy people had to deal with such dangerous situations on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. I recommend everyone read this even if you don't usually like military type stories because it is full of action that is pretty intense and easy to understand. Most of all the story is about an old Navy sailor who has to face a dangerous situation. I really liked the characters and how they dealt with it.

Heroic, suspenseful, great book!!!

I would've never read a book like this but a friend told me about it, so I read it and I thought it was great! The main character reminded me of one of my uncles. He's tough but has a soft side. It's a great read even if you don't know anything about the Navy.

Go Navy!

This story was way more cool than youtube videos of Navy jets on the flight deck. The main guy is a tough old crusty sailor with a heart of gold. And most of the time you can't read these military stories because of all the lingo, but this was easy to follow yet still full of major high tech weapons and gear. The last sentence was very poetic and patriotic. Go Navy!
