If you're into fantasy artwork at all, download this book. The "how-to" portion walks you through creating the Skeleton Knight and in addition to the technique, the artist talks about his thinking behind the picture and how that affects the outcome. The book itself is cool -- dive into the pictures with tappable callouts, see screenshots of the actual brush settings, etc. Really professionally done.
