Ski Therapy
This is a great book for any level skiier— especially those who are somewhere between ingenues and Olympians.
It does just what the cover says: it offers cures and remedies to improve your skiing. It’s written with a sense of humour and light touch but gives solid tips and practical advise. The illustrations are brilliant — good fun and cleverly get the skier positions and technical points across.
I love that it’s a quick read (my 10 year old read it with me with particular attention to the drawings and we finished it in 40 minutes). That said it packs in key messages with visual guidance on how to implement the techniques.
Skiing since he was a toddler and teaching skiing for more than 20 years, Ed has refined the instruction to a few pearls of wisdom for any skier.
If you’re looking for a few things to keep in mind to get the most out of your skiing, check out this book. It’s hard to go wrong.

Amazing…even though I’m not a beginner, this book has helped me improve my skiing. it was fun to read and really helpful. I also gave into my friends 8 and 12 year olds and they loved it to too. Easy to read, fun to read and got everyone excited about getting back on the slopes. Ed has a great knack to put into words the mechanics of skiing. He taught my older kids when they were 5 and for the following 10 years and they refused anyone else as his style and making learning fun got them to an expert skiing level. He has taken that personal and fun approach to this new book. A great Christmas stocking present!!
