Slamdek A to Z is Scott Ritcher’s firsthand account of his independent Slamdek Record Company label which operated from 1986 to 1995. Slamdek became synonymous with Louisville for many lovers of punk and indie rock during its nine-year run. Each of Slamdek’s forty-five release is fully documented in a narrative form with track listings, band rosters, anecdotes, and each band’s history as it pertains to the label. The book is highlighted with more than 250 photographs and contributions from 30 other writers.
