“Morgan's novel delivers the classic sweep-you-off-your-feet romantic experience.”—Publishers Weekly
From USA TODAY bestselling author Sarah Morgan comes the first book in a hot new trilogy about friendship, love and embracing life!
Cool, calm and competent, events planner Paige Walker loves a challenge. After a childhood spent in and out of hospitals, she’s now determined to prove herself—and where better to take the world by storm than Manhattan? But when Paige loses the job she loves, she must face her biggest challenge of all—going it alone.
Except launching her own events company is nothing compared to hiding her outrageous crush on Jake Romano—her brother’s best friend, New York’s most in-demand date and the only man to break her heart. When Jake offers Paige’s fledgling company a big chance, their still-sizzling chemistry starts giving her sleepless nights. But can she convince the man who trusts no one to take a chance on forever?
The first From Manhattan with Love contemporary also the 75th romance by bestseller Morgan (First Time in Forever) showcases the best of New York City. Events organizer Paige Walker anticipates a promotion. Instead, she and her two best friends get the ax. Devastated, Paige dons her typical brave facade, which she developed during her childhood illnesses. Her overprotective brother's best friend, Jake, her first teenage crush and still her secret heartthrob, urges her to start her own event planning company with her friends. Multimillionaire tech wizard Jake, abandoned by his single mother and adopted when he was six, has trust issues and never dates any woman for longer than a month. He harbors feelings for Paige, but he promised Paige's brother he'd never lay a hand on her. Snappy dialogue, well-developed characters, and the details of the three women's hard work to build their company mix with sweet romantic tension between Paige and Jake. Steamy sex scenes spice up this quick, engaging read.
Wow! Just wow!
This is the most amazing story! The chemistry build up, the believable connection, I couldn’t put it down!
A little disappointing
It had so much potential. The dialogue was too repetitious. No resolution to his issues with his mom though he knows where she is. Or with Paige’s parents.
Sleepless in Mantattan
Wonderful read! I love Sarah Morgan!
