Pieces of Eight. A 400-year-old necklace. A mystery dating back to the time of Pocahontas...

After Andee, Knox and Grabel establish their secret clubhouse in the basement of an abandoned and allegedly haunted house, strange things happen: they discover a dark figure digging holes in their clubhouse yard on Halloween night, Chief Powhatan's necklace is found in the haunted house after stolen from a museum exhibit, and Andee is being followed.

Before long, they find themselves deciphering the clues held in Native America artifacts that lead them through history and possibly to a long lost treasure. They must draw on their collective knowledge of science, and their problem-solving skills to put the pieces of the ancient puzzle together and return the necklace to the museum before they are accused of theft, or worse.
