Firehouse 5 Book Three
When Claudia receives a phone call in the dead of night informing her that her pub has burned to the ground, shock steals her senses. But when the hunky arson investigator and his sidekick show up to question her, her body awakens in brand-new ways. She can’t stop picturing herself crushed between the beefy Swede and the tattooed god.
Jonatan and Mac suspect a common case of insurance fraud—until they meet the beautiful and innocent-eyed pub owner. After one meeting, Jonatan can’t keep his hands off her, but neither can Mac. Trouble is, they need all their wits for the investigation.
Two alpha males thumping their chests and declaring Claudia belongs to each of them individually will get them nowhere, but Claudia may have a solution that makes all of them happy.

Arson or not...
This is the third novel in the Firehouse 5 series. Claudia, pub owner and suspected arsonist, has been notified that her pub has burned to the ground. The pub was her livelihood! Claudia had even taken out a loan to expand and upgrade. Since she was upgrading and expanding, it was recommended that she also increase her insurance. All these, seemingly innocent items combined to make it appear as though she burned down her pub to claim a hefty insurance payment...
Mac and Jonatan are the investigators in charge of Claudia's case. Individually, each man wants to comfort her and believe she's innocent, but all evidence leads straight to Claudia. Under the premise of investigating, each man approaches Claudia. Kissing her, having dinner with her, etc are all conflicts of interest. The men should've removed themselves from the case, but they wanted to prove her innocence. When the men push Claudia to choose between them, she informs them that she can't. So they decide to share her. Jonatan is NOT on board with sharing Claudia, but will if it's the only way he'll be able to be with her.
Will both men be able to curb their jealousy and share Claudia? Will they be able to prove she's being framed for arson in time? While I really enjoyed this novel, I couldn't believe the "arson" investigators couldn't find enough evidence to clear Claudia. I didn't think they'd ever get it together to "save" the one they loved before she was charged with arson. I did like the angst and various feelings associated with deciding to engage in a menage relationship. Jonatan was so uneasy with the idea of loving Mac--until Mac's life was put in jeopardy. I felt the ending came full circle and I truly enjoyed this novel. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
