Jack Singh, a young Sikh writer from Montreal, Quebec chronicles his experience at Turdukin Film Studios where he's asked to collaborate on film scripts and reality shows with producers from Burbank and New York. What he doesn't know is that these producers are more interested in Quebec subsidiaries and grants than actually producing anything he writes.
