Snow-Blind

A man and a woman are snowbound in a cabin in the Wyoming mountains, and one of them is not what the other believes. Burt married a poet, moved to a Wyoming ranch and wrote a long run of novels of the mountain West; this short one is her tightest — the snow does the work of a locked room, and it was filmed in 1921. Fifty-five plates of snowbound country by painters including Eastman Johnson and Edvard Munch run from 1840 to 1921, matching the isolation of the cabin.
