“I am in trouble and I need your help,” she said holding his gaze.
“What kind of trouble?” he asked knowing before she answered that he would do anything she asked for.
“I am being blackmailed,” she said, a hard look appearing on her face. He stared at her not knowing what to say, waiting for her to go on, certain he had misunderstood.
“Blackmailed? Whatever for?”
“Have you heard of how Frank and I met?” she asked.
