What a great book this was. How much I liked it was totally unexpected. I found myself enjoying the characters and really loving the message. There’s a wrestling match going on inside of the main character, Dave, that I related with. It’s the struggle with keeping faith in the midst of difficutly and tragedy.
Really enjoyed this novel. It was an easy read but packed a great punch. There’s some humor, some sad moments, and surprises near the end. Glad I read it!
Good read especially for the Holidays
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and it, surprisingly, really inspired me. I found myself tearing up at times (and not just the sad parts). It was more than that. It was about a Pastor trying to find his way and purpose in life, which I relate to you. Bottom line, Dave and his son Josh take similar journeys of dealing with the grieving over a lost loved on and learn an important lesson in the process—especially Dave.
