Sometimes you have to take a chance and find a prince that suits you…
Snow T'ylan doesn't believe in fairy tales or a prince to make your soul whole. She tried the happy ever after before and it failed. Now all she wanted was some peace from her meddling brothers who felt she needed to find a new prince to make her happy. It was an illusion that there was some great love for everyone. She didn't have time to think of that now. She had to handle her father being taken by the one woman who already tried to kill her. This time Snow knew one of them was not walking away. She should have known it wouldn't be that easy. Fate had a warped sense of humor and she had Snow in her sights. When you run into a man who was gorgeous, determined and set your soul aflame…well you don't have any choice but to go with what is destined for you.
Kyrian J'lim is really good at what he does. His task to find the missing man wasn't going to be easy but he was up to it. Finding a woman who was his, was fate. Now he was on two hunts—one to save someone and the other to save himself. He needed her and she wasn't going to brush him aside. Snow was resistant to the idea of them but he wasn't about to let her walk away. He'd use everything he had heart, soul and body to convince Snow to give herself into his keeping and he would do the same.
It was about the give and take of two halves coming together to light the world and bring the snow….
Snow and Kyrian
Overall rating: 4.6 (advance copy)
This story truly is filled with characters that could support their own books. I actually enjoyed the subtle fairytale retold touches. But this adult version of the telling is way more interesting and I am actually wondering how long Kyrian and Snow will last. I can picture many tales of their exploits. I am very pleased with this authors ability to make each of the characters in this book so unique and empowered. Definitely glad I got to read this! This review has been voluntarily written
