Enjoyed the level of explanation in this book. It has me thinking about starting this as a hobby once my broken shoulder heals. I have allergies & this would enable me to control additives. Thank you
Good book for beginner
Overall, it was a good book - lots of soap-making history/background. That said, there are quite a few grammatical errors, most of which are easy enough to figure out so you know what the writer intended to say. One of the recipes calls for "1-1/2 spoons of French clay". Maybe when I have experience working with French clay, I'll know if that should be teaspoons or tablespoons.
