So much happens in the prologue alone! I started out by being vaguely amused, but then the situation quickly transforms into an emotional roller coaster.
It's truly impressive how this author has taken her lived experiences and deftly captured them in written form as a work of fiction. It's especially uncanny, as I can just about feel every emotion the characters are going through.
This one is a winner. Bravo! 👏
