Can I just say WOW! This book has it all. There are sweet scenes, funny scenes, romantic scenes and intense scenes. You can't go wrong here!

Ex-Green Beret Colton Henderson is asked for a favor by his lieutenant. The lieutenant's daughter, Jennifer, has a stalker. Can Colton look after Jennifer until the threat is eliminated? Well Colton was on his way to Texas to be there for his brother's wedding. After his time in the military, Colton just wants to go home and be a part of the family's ranch again.

Jennifer goes with Colton when her father asks the handsome soldier. She has a popular podcast. She went on one date with Dan and knew it wouldn't work. Dan on the other hand wants to marry Jennifer. She can't leave her condo as Dan's actions progress. She even had to put the podcast into hiatus.

Life on the ranch is one that Jennifer is enjoying rather than detesting (no WiFi and her father kept her phone!) As Colton won't leave Jennifer's side, they come up with a fake engagement to explain that! It would be no hardship for me (cover model is gorgeous!)

The author really put up many hurdles for this couple. A stalker, an ex-girlfriend, a wedding, a HUGE reception put on by a Los Angeles production (from the previous novel) and you have a book that will just grab your attention and keep it all the way through!

I adored seeing past characters. I loved the dual POV format. The plot was a smooth one. The sexiness was behind closed doors. Ms. Bell really hit it out of the ballpark with this one! I hope there is a book for each cowboy!!! No ending for this series, PLEASE!!!!

Colton and Jennifer’s slow burn will keep you turning the page. I loved the story and the well thought out plot made the setting not just another ranch romance. Good character development and unique perspectives made this book a must read; HEA guaranteed!

Soldier Cowboy is the sixth in Heatherly Bell’s Men of Stone Ridge series. Jennifer Walker has a big problem. And Colton Henderson is apparently the answer. Jennifer hosts a popular podcast,and has unfortunately acquired a stalker. Her father calls on Colton, who is newly returning to civilian life, to take on Jennifer’s protection until the threat has passed.

One fake engagement, two protective brothers, a ranch, a reality show, and a wedding have Jennifer and Colton juggling some very real chemistry and feelings in public and in private. Heatherly Bell’s characters are warmly written,and returning to Stone Ridge is like visiting a dear friend. Previous characters make welcome appearances, though Soldier Cowboy stands alone well. A great addition to this fun small-town series.
