Spellbinding
This is the first in the Wishcraft Series that I have read but I instantly fell in love with Darcy and Aunt Ve. The town was spellbinding and the characters were focused and well written. I am usually more of a cooking cozy mystery reader but I think I am onto a new series. I found the suspense rise throughout the book and was surprised by the ending. I am super stoked to read the rest of the series and implore you to read if you like a well written and thought provoking mystery!
Nice Addition to the Series!
This was a nice addition to Blake's Witchcraft Series. The Enchanted Village full of Crafters is a wonderful place, and I love all of the details the author writes about the community and its citizens. Darcy is a wonderful main character, and she is surrounded by other great secondary ones - Nick, Mimi, Ve, Starla, Evan, Cherise, and the familiars Archie, Pepe, and Mrs. P., just to name a few. I enjoyed the storyline in Some Like it Witchy, and it sure kept me guessing right until the truth was revealed
Darcy is getting to be an old hand at stumbling upon dead bodies in Salem's Enchanted Village, and she's just done it again. Raina, a realtor, is dead in the house she was planning to show to Cherise and Darcy. It soon looks like her murder is tied to the heist of valuable diamonds thirty some odd years ago. The diamonds were never found, although many have looked for them in the house where Raina was found. It is obvious that someone is still after them at all costs. Several people seem to be good suspects and Darcy has her work cut out for her in her role as investigator for the Elder digging into the past to see where it leads.
This was a fun and entertaining book, and it was great to read about the inhabitants of the Enchanted Village again. The story kept me interested and delivered some surprises that I didn't expect. i'm already looking forward to seeing what will happen to Darcy and her family and friends next.
