Small-town librarian Sally Scott’s life is made up of a series of tremendous heartbreaks. Her parents died when she was young, the love of her life just married somebody else, and looking after her agoraphobic aunt means she can’t leave town despite having no true friends to confide in. Only her beloved books provide any true escape.
Tobias Lloyd left town to make something of himself, but whenever he returns to Sweet Grove, he remains on the outside. It’s really no different than before he’d left, thanks to his grandfather’s insistence that they were better than the others. But all Tobias has wanted are some friends. Maybe once he’s a lawyer and not a business competitor, he’ll be able to fit in.
When their paths intersect at an event neither want to attend, both will find themselves questioning everything they once thought they knew about themselves and friendship.
Don’t miss the chance to lose your heart to Sally, Tobias, and the entire town of Sweet Grove in this moving saga of faith, hope, and love from a New York Times bestselling author.
Loves Trial by Melissa Storm
I have read a lot of Melissa ‘s books but I have to say this is my favorite of them. This book about misunderstandings, about finding new love, being strong enough to apologize when you know that you’re wrong. And becoming a different person than you thought that you were.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Sally and Tobias
Love's Trail is a First Street Church Romance book by Melissa Storm. Sally and Tobias characters are strong and flawed. They perceive themselves as damaged and unwanted.
Sally is hated by everyone in town! She is the town librarian and has a secret desire to write a romance novel and casts herself as the heroine where her life is perfect and she gets Ben, her crush since childhood. Sally ruins her relationship with Ben she kisses Ben on the eve his wedding and wants him to run away with her. Tobias feels unlovable because he revered his mother's love and was brought up by his grandparents. Melissa Storm wrote an excellent story of two people feeling unloved, unwanted and finding romance together. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.
