Someone to Dance

God created the sun and moon and earth and every beautiful, wonderful thing on its surface—but there was no one to enjoy all that He had made. He needed someone who would appreciate the beauty, someone to dance in sun and moonlight, swim, and play. God created man and woman but soon discovered his creations were too busy to enjoy the natural miracles around them.


So God created someone smaller with chubby cheeks and a big smile. He created a child, and this child did indeed dance in the moonlight and take the time to enjoy God’s gifts.


Someone to Dance is a charmingly illustrated reminder to appreciate the miracles that God has provided. Author Sara Sommers Dean had great faith in God and built her life upon that faith.
