Samantha B. Sokol ,

Finally the ending to a great cliffhanger!

Finally the ending to a great cliffhanger! I love that this book starts off literally at the end of the last one, so there’s no need to re-read or there be an amount of time that passed and attempt to catch up with context clues. After Harper overhears Drake selling her out to someone, she is angry and hurt. What she doesn’t know is that Drake isn’t necessarily selling her out, but rather trying to take an alternative route to resolve her problem. This book mainly focuses on that alternative method in addition to the race to the clock to keep her and her loved ones alive. There wasn’t much to say about this book except that it was a great ending to the duet where everything is resolved and we get a HEA for the characters. I also enjoy that we get a little teaser at the end on who the next books are going to be surrounding!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Great conclusion

The second book in this duet, the story continues with Drake and Harper. Desperate for to pay off a debt, Harper is determined to take care of this dilemma herself. She doesn’t know if she can trust Drake and Harper doesn’t want to stick around to find out. The story is full of angst and steamy love. A great conclusion for these two.

Review copy was received for a honest opinion.
