Charlotte Sapori has led a wonderful life, safely tucked in the bosom of her family. Charlotte finds both diaries and plunges into the hidden world of Irene Adler and Sherlock Holmes as she discovers what brought them together, and how they managed to stay together for thirty years despite having to battle the odds.

Beautifully Written
Not only was this the first book by author KD Sherrinford that I have read, but it is also book 1 in the Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler Series. It was such a great read that I couldn’t put it down. I have always been a fan of Sherlock Holmes and this book was nothing less of amazing.
This story is one that describes the relationship between Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adle. It was such a great surprise to see the way KD wrote a beautiful transition of both the characters and their relationship. We also got to read about Charlotte Sapori the daughter of Irene Adler and Lucca Sapori. Irene is a famous opera singer, while Lucca works with the government where his job keeps him away from the family most of the time. Irene has been diagnosed with a life-threatening cancer, this scares her and so she gives a diary to Charlotte and asks her to read it, that is where she confesses to her the long-kept secrets. When Lucca hears about Irene giving her diary to Charlotte he too gives her his diary and asks her to read both. The diary explains in detail the lives of Irene Adler and Lucca Sapori and Charlotte discovers that his father’s original name is not Luca and he is a famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
This is a great retelling of the story with some updated details. You really should grab this book and start this mystery series.
