Poor Whisper having to carry trauma like that. A true friend betrayed other friends by killing them is a large loss. I fell really bad for her. I really do. I really like books that explain backstories.

The Origin of Shadow the Hedgehog, part 2!

Maria’s POV:

“Is it ready, Grandfather?”
“Now it is, Maria”, My grandfather said. He had spent months creating a special life form he called Shadow.
I came in and he flicked a switch. Suddenly there was a loud whirring noise. “What…where…who am I?” said a voice. “You are Shadow.”

Shadow’s POV:

“Who am I?” I asked.
“You are Shadow”, a girl said.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Maria”, she replied.
“Where am I?” I asked.
“You are aboard the Space Colony Ark”, a man said. “I am Professor Gerald Robotnik. I created you?”
“Why was I created?”
“To bring peace to our world.”
I asked more questions, and Maria answered all of them. Then I knew she was my very first friend. I was happy.
For months I trained and lived aboard the Ark. I wanted to go down to Earth with Maria, but she explained that she had a disease that would not let her.
Then one day, a heard a shattering noise. That was when I saw them. They were soldiers who breached the Ark. And they wanted to destroy me.
