Sonrise Sonset

Sonrise Sonset is a short story based on actual events in which a man and his wife struggle to accept the tragic death of their only son while the detectives struggle to identify his killer. Their son had 20 years to live but only 20 seconds to die. His friends wish they had known him better. His parents wish they had known him longer. His parents, his friends and the detectives share a poignant moment in a court of law when the judge allows the father to address the killer during the trial.
