Great for beginners and enthusiasts alike!!
I've recently switched all my gear from Nikon to the Sony a series. While I await for my gear to arrive I thought I'd get a jumpstart on the new format to pass some time.
Mr. Smith goes into great detail about specific bodies and even the menu system to cut the BS and get right to what's Important. If you're just starting out I suggest you take your time and go through this book in its entirety. If you're a little more seasoned you can jump around after you get through the sections on your specific body. In fact Mr. Smith even suggests the same early on in the first chapter.
All in all this will make a great addition to my photography books and will make great company on plane and train rides.
