But feeding on transformed tunes hurts. Eating music is dangerous and addictive. Artists, clean folk, cultists, and children experience disturbing reactions. As pressure mounts, ethical boundaries fall and the citizens of Sound find themselves at the mercy of authorities.

The experiment could save the world. But who will save the population of Sound when the price of information is so high?
