South West Coast - Tasmania

The south west corner of Tasmania, south of the Australian mainland, is one of the most isolated and pristine spots on the planet. Inaccessible by road, and with only a few beautiful but challenging walking tracks, the area is largely the province of abalone and lobster fishermen who visit it by sea.


This book, photographed from the sea, in close collaboration with an abalone and lobster fisherman, portrays the vivid images and story of a coast carved by centuries of wind and sea, unspoiled and largely untouched by mankind.
