A lot of laws, which Cori constantly breaks. So she’s spent years plotting her escape, which is the only thing that will save her from the colony’s deranged leader, Nathan. She isn’t looking to be a hero, and she certainly isn’t looking to fall in love, but she just might do both.

Great book
I was sucked in from the start. Loved it! Can't wait to read the second book!

I'll admit it. I found this to be a really fun, light read. It's remarkably creative and absolutely bang up work for a first time novelist. It has just enough character development and detail to provide a vivid fast paced experience. Yes, there are a few passages that fall a little flat. You may also have to suspend disbelief here and there. And the "Twilight"-ifide romance can be a bit distracting. But over all, it's a really great read that shouldn't be missed... especially if you're a fan a post-apocalypse dystopian fiction!
