The first module starts of with the story of the Age of Discovery and how Ferdinand Magellan began his expedition to the Spice Islands that led to the discovery of the Philippines. This module also covers the early beginnings of Spanish colonialism in the country, covering the changes and influences brought by the Spaniards.
